February 01 Update:
Hello all! Well, the month of January 2004 was one marked by much activity, here on the DF and in the shipping / modeling world as a whole. Not only has Cunard’s ‘Queen Mary 2’ successfully completed her maiden voyage, it has come to our attention that two plastic assembly kits of this liner will be made available. Exactly when we can see either kit on the shelves, or available for ‘on-line’ ordering, remains to be seen however it is anticipated to be a ‘hot ticket’, and without doubt the kit will be ‘the’ topic of discussion for many months! After so many years of ‘recycled’ ship subjects it is refreshing to see an entirely ‘new’ subject being introduced, and we hope this may be an indication of things to come. We would like to thank all contributors for sharing their fine work this past month ~ of which highlights of the February Update include:
